A grant of £2,250 was awarded to provide farming activities for people living with dementia.
“One lady said: “That was a day for me and my daughter.” The home manager told me that this lady had not settled well into the home and was reluctant to come for the afternoon. Her daughter said she would come as well. They had talked out the visit briefly beforehand, but they took a lot of photos on the day and had them printed out as a reminder. The lady spoke to everyone about the trip when she got home and was still talking about the goats for weeks after the event. That is priceless.”
