Community Foundation for Surrey

Community Foundation for Surrey was the first Community Foundation that we partnered with in March 2013. We first set up a “Flow- through” or “Immediate Impact Fund” and then a permanent endowment through the “Community First Endowment” in 2015. During this time, we have awarded in excess of £300,000 awarding over 90 grants, supporting a vast range of non-profit organizations, charities and voluntary group across the 11 boroughs/districts in Surrey.

£750.00 to MGSO4 Epsom and Ewell Arts Festival to support a programme of outreach arts activities in 2017, aimed at vulnerable and disadvantaged groups

Maria Reeves notes that the Festival is aimed at “reducing social isolation; improving community cohesion; promoting inter-generational collaboration; encouraging volunteering; and improving individual’s well-being through the creative arts.”
